Five Stars (Spectacular!) for the CharlesLindbergh.com Web site from "Surfing the Net with Kids"

Surfing the Net with Kids
(February 5, 2003)—Welcome to my vision of what's wonderful on the Web. Welcome parents, kids, teens, grandparents, teachers, librarians and the incurably curious. I (Barbara J. Feldman) am a syndicated newspaper columnist, mother, wife and Net surfer supreme (not listed in order of importance, of course).

I have been a computer nerd for over thirty years, with a B.S. Cum Laude in Information & Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, 1976. I've been a programmer, computer consultant, newsletter publisher, and shareware author. Since becoming a mom, involving my kids in my love of computers has spurred my interest in children's use of the Internet. My weekly newspaper column Surfing the Net with Kids appears in The San Diego Union-Tribune and a growing list of other papers nationally. It is syndicated by United Feature Syndicate

See ya on the Net!

Five Stars (Spectacular!) for the CharlesLindbergh.com Web site

This extensive fan site was created by Pat Ranfranz, a web developer and pilot. It is well-organized, nicely illustrated, and appropriately sprinkled with hyperlinks to related onsite and offsite resources. Noteworthy clicks are the Charles and Anne Lindbergh bios, the timeline, the lesson plans in PDF format, and a May 21, 1927 radio broadcast reporting Lindbergh's arrival in Paris (on the Audio Clips page.)
